Chef Nicholas Barrington is the Executive Chef at East Lake Golf Club. A Certified Executive Chef (CEC), Chef Barrington spent 20 years as the Executive Sous Chef of the prestigious Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge, whose members include CEOs, celebrities and athletes including the Hall of Fame Legend and Owner Arnold Palmer.

Chef Barrington is a member of the American Culinary Federation and mentor to many future culinary stars. His professional experience spans many years and includes cooking with many of the nation’s most prestigious chefs from coast to coast. He has been featured in National Culinary Review, Florida Fresh and multiple other food publications.

As a member of the American Culinary Federation, Chef Barrington has accumulated multiple awards including 11 Gold, Silver & Bronze medals and a competitor Bronze medal for the U.S. Culinary Cup in both 2012 & 2013. He is also a proud recipient of the American Culinary Federation Central Florida Chapter Chef of the Year Award in 2012. Chef Barrington previously served as President of the Central Florida Chapter of the ACF. While working at Bay Hill Club & Lodge, he cooked for the past four Presidents, in addition to celebrities, athletes, members and distinguished guests.

Chef Barrington’s charitable accomplishments include ACF Chef & Child, Give Kids the World, Arnold Palmer Hospital for Women & Children, Taste of Compassion, Ronald McDonald House, East Lake Foundation, C.H.O.I.C.E.S. and numerous others.
